James Robertson is currently a master's candidate in Journalism and Public Affairs with a print and international focus at American University. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. While getting his undergraduate degree, he was station manager and program director for the student-run radio station, as well as a member of several honor fraternities and music ensembles. Before graduate school, he was the Media Services Intern at Presbyterian College for the 2007-2008 school year.
While at American University, James has become proficient with the Drupal content management system, and has developed or helped develop several Web sites that use this technology, including the American Observer, the Transition Tracker, the Journal of International Service, and his personal site JamesGRobertson.com.
His interests and hobbies include social networking, blogging, online comics, music, photography, travel, cooking, sailing, and hiking and camping.
