Traveling, investigating, writing, and reporting on hidden stories are my passions. I hope to channel these passions into a career in international correspondence. At an internship with National Public Radio affiliate WUSF I discovered a small portion of what multimedia journalism has to offer, and it whetted my appetite for more. In reporting on a story, I can share a slice of life with another person, country, community, or set of ideals. Through pictures, videos, social media, and tried-and-true text, this slice of life can reach the rest of the world in an accessible and compelling way.
I want to hone my skills, soak in as much as I can, and gain more experience in the profession so that I can continue to contribute to global journalism, each day with more proficiently.- Class
