Zana Briski

Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids (2004)Zana Briski is a photographer who's been living in Calcutta for a couple of years. She found herself documenting the lives of female prostitutes through photos. She quickly found herself teaching a group of curious children who wanted to know who she was and what she did. We liked her the first time we saw her, Kochi said. She is one of the nine children whose mother's are prostitutes.
