Out Like a Lamb, and Stay that Way Please

Live from the Tavern for the NCAA Tourney

6:51:  30 minutes until tipoff for AU's first round NCAA tournament game against Villanova. Follow the action here as Nick and I live blog the game from the viewing party at The Tavern.

7:01:  President Obama picked Villanova in his bracket . Cooper Allen picked AU. So far today, the president's 5-2 on his picks. I, however, am 7-0.

Drupal Tuesday: Social Networking

Since it is still Tuesday for a little while, I thought I would post this week's editon of Drupal Tuesdays, which isn't so much about Drupal, but about stuff we use within Drupal to market and add content to our Drupal site.

Social Network Faceoff: Privacy v. Fun v. Utility

Over the last few days, there's been a lot of hubbub about the social networking Web site Facebook changing its terms of service.  The Consumerist blog publicized the changes, in a post that has generated widespread attention in traditional news outlets and on Facebook itself.  According to Consumerist, under the old terms of service, any rights Facebook claimed over users' uploaded photos and video ended when the user deleted her account on the site.

Observer II: New Observer Look, Same Great Taste

There is a new Observer in the works. The development team (Anna, James, Caroline and David) leaked me a copy of a "draft" of a redesign - cleaner, simpler, but still in Drupal.
