Zooming in on climate change
Climate change has been on everybody’s lips the last decade. Do people know what it is? Does the media know how to cover it? What can we do to prevent it from getting worse? These are just a couple of the questions that need to be answered.
The question to be addressed at the American Forum at American University on Feb. 9 is: will climate change be this generation’s greatest challenge? The forum will be held at Abramson Family Recital Hall in Katzen Arts Center on AU's main campus and will be moderated by Jane Hall, Associate Professor of Journalism at AU's School of Communication. WAMU 88.5 will broadcast the forum live. Check out the video to learn about AU students' expectations for the forum and their thoughts about climate change, its effects and the media's coverage of it.
In order of appearance: Mingo Grant, Mike Shubbuck and Danielle Domingos with Lauren Marolda
