'Heroes' Star Champions Whales and Voting

‘Heroes’ star Hayden Panettiere and Save the Whales Again supporters gathered on the National Mall to form a human whale on Sunday. The event marked the one-year anniversary of Panettiere and other supporters’ protest of whaling off the coast of Japan.

D.C. shadow Sen. Paul Strauss is also a supporter of Save the Whales Again, and was on hand at the event. Panettiere has joined Sen. Strauss as an advocate for D.C. voting rights.

The event served the dual purpose of raising awareness for Save the Whales Again and encouraging participants to vote.
